The team at ULR donned our finest “Caddyshack” attire on Thursday night for a Top Golf Party, graciously hosted by one of our favorite mortgage bankers, Kai Bike, with Republic State Mortgage. ULR agents enjoyed a break from the busy real estate season to kick back and enjoy cocktails, appetizers, and of course try their hand at playing links.
Never heard of Top Golf? This huge indoor/outdoor facility, takes the best parts of golf (drinking, eating and hitting the golf ball) and rolls them into one experience. Each team of players is assigned a bay, where they can order cocktails and bites from an extensive, ever-changing menu. Players score points by hitting balls (assigned using microchip technology) into any target. The more accurate the shot and the farther the distance, the more points you earn. Need another golf ball? No problem, simply waive your club over the sensor and another ball is teed up for you. Your score is kept by computer so there is nothing to count. With two locations in Houston, and a third on the way, this is quickly becoming one of the city’s favorite past times.
